Scope of Services Overview

Brass Tacks provides owner-directed property oversight and veterinarian-directed supportive animal care. Services are designed to execute established owner protocols and routine care plans.

  • Property Oversight (provided in conjunction with on-site care for at least one pet or animal, per insurance guidelines): Services include routine inspections, system monitoring, and operational support. Brass Tacks does not act as a licensed trade contractor (e.g., plumbing, electrical, structural repair), but will coordinate with and oversee your preferred licensed vendors as directed.

  • Animal Care: Care is strictly supportive and non-veterinary. Brass Tacks does not diagnose, prescribe, alter treatment plans, or perform veterinary procedures. Any specific care such as medication administration, wound care, or other procedures are performed under direct veterinarian instructions and orders. All care is verified directly with your pet or animal's care team before visits begin. Any health or safety concerns noted during a visit are communicated to the owner immediately with a recommendation to contact a licensed veterinarian.
