Surcharges apply per visit in addition to base service rates and may be combined when applicable, at Brass Tacks' discretion.
Weekend
Applies to visits scheduled for weekends (Friday after 4 PM through Sunday night).
Property Oversight

Household Pets, Equine, and Livestock

Routine and Specialized Support: + $6
* Extra Household Pets (beyond the first two): + $5 per additional pet
* Large Group/Farm Care Add-On: + $25 per visit
Specialized Support includes complex medication regimens, post-procedure care, and other vet-ordered tasks.
Holiday and Weather
Applies to federal/observed holidays, peak travel times, and severe or inclement weather events.

Weather safety decisions are made at the discretion of Brass Tacks. Services may be modified, rescheduled, or canceled if conditions or travel are deemed unsafe.
Service Areas and Rural Travel
Travel surcharges are calculated based on driving distance and road type from my base near the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Exact travel fees are confirmed prior to booking.

Primary Coverage Area (No Surcharge): Castle Rock, Castle Pines, and Central Franktown- including properties within 15 miles of the Fairgrounds.

Extended/Rural Surcharge (+$8 per visit): Applied to properties located beyond 15 miles from the Fairgrounds, or requiring extended travel on unpaved roads.
Service requests for outside these areas are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Deposits and Cancellation Overview
Multi-day and holiday reservations require a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure your dates on the calendar. Standard cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice to avoid a 50% late-cancellation fee.
